We’re excited to introduce a new level of recognition on Owners Connect: + Roles.
These roles are designed to recognize members who have gone above and beyond within their field. Whether you run a thriving gaming community, build incredible software, create amazing content, or provide outstanding services, + roles help showcase members who have earned a reputation for excellence.
What is a + Role?
A + role is not another level of verification.
Your Verified role confirms that Owners Connect has verified who you are and what you represent.
A + role is an additional recognition awarded to members who have demonstrated exceptional reputation, professionalism, quality, scale, or long-term contributions within their area of expertise.
Current + roles include:
- Community Owner+
- Developer+
- Creator+
- Service Provider+
These roles are intentionally uncommon and are meant to recognize members who consistently stand out within the community.
How Are + Roles Awarded?
Unlike standard verification, + roles are not automatic and cannot be earned simply by reaching a specific milestone.
Every application is reviewed manually by Owners Connect Administration Leadership.
During the review, we may consider factors such as:
- Reputation within the community
- Length of history
- Quality of work
- Reviews and vouches
- Professionalism
- Community impact
- Scale of the project, business, or audience
- Overall trustworthiness
There is no checklist that guarantees approval. Every application is reviewed individually.
How Do I Apply?
Already verified and think you’ve earned a + role?
Simply open a ticket under Verification Issue and let us know you’d like to be considered for + recognition.
From there, Administration Leadership will review your application and determine whether you meet the standard for a + role.
If you’re not approved this time, don’t worry! You can continue building your community, portfolio, or business and apply again in the future.
