I was placed here in Lanzarote whilst working for Thomson Holidays in 1991 for just 3 months. Three years later I was still here, loving this intriguing little volcanic island in the Atlantic Ocean. I met my husband here in 1993, a fellow Englishman, and we moved back to the UK for 5 years, but both missed this lifestyle too much and we moved back to the island again in 1999. Settling originally in Costa Teguise, we then moved to Famara 5 years later. We have brought our 2 sons up here and still love Lanzarote.
