Owners – How to update your Calendar

Explanation notes for the Calendar and booking system.

The Calendar for your property is available through the “My Properties” link on your account “My Profile” page. Click the Pencil icon at the bottom of the property box to open Editing.

Once in Editing you will see a link on the left hand side of the page to “Calendar”.

Once in the Calendar you can select the start start date immediately followed by the end date of the required booking.

This will automatically open a box which will display the selected dates, if the dates are incorrect, close the box (with the “x” top right) and re-select the correct dates. You can add notes (client name etc) in the box then click “book period’ at the bottom of the box.

Any entries made in the Calendar are available to view in the “My Bookings” section.

NOTE: If you need to cancel a booking and remove it from the Calendar this MUST be done through the “My Bookings” page.

Find the appropriate booking and select “Cancel my own booking” or “cancel booking”. This will remove it from the calendar.

NOTE 2: The section called “My Reservations” is reserved for any booking that you may have made for yourself in another owners property. This is built-in option designed for users who book through the site and not really for owners.

To recap:

Adding a booking to the Calendar:

1: Click “My Properties”

2: Click “Edit Property” (pencil icon)

3: Click “Calendar”

4: Use the arrows to navigate to the required month

5: Click the start date followed immediately by the end date of the required booking

6: Check the dates in the box, add any comment and click “Book Period”

To remove a booking:

1: From your “profile page” Click My Bookings

2: Find the appropriate booking from the list

3: Click “Cancel” (red box)
